In you quest for knoledge or personal growth you spent part of your life in the service an old man that runs an ancient library that used to be a temple to Mystra. One day while exploring the lower levels of the building you notice a sealed jailed room that contains an statue that somewhat resembles those of Mystra in the upper levels, but looks impossible ancient, after opening the room and when you get close to the statue you notice that while the clothes and symbols are the same from the newer statues, this one has a quite different face, a face that looks like if it were 30 or more years older in human time. The thick dust layer and mold of abandonment has covered this shrine over the centuries, due to respect of the place or mere curiosity you start to clean the shrine of the woman thats possing seemingly like casting a spell with her book in hands, when you're cleaning the book you notice that the carves of the manuscript are stil in mint timeless conditions under the dirt. You attempt to read it, with an arcana check of 15 you may or not struggle to read it, but in time, with practice you successfully read it from start to end. At the very last word, the book suddenly expels an force-like implotion that pulls you towards the statue while an arcane ray pierces directly through your eyes and one side of your head.

You have a permanent full blue midnight-like eye with no iris, you can see normal even if you have darkvision or alike, upon detect magic the eye glows and small arcs of arcane lightning can be seen traveling through the same side of the head that the eye is.

As long as you have spell slots, now you can cast ANY spell without preparation, the spell must be one that you already have casted at least once in your life by preparing it from a book (not magic items). If you do so, you take [roll]1d4-1[/roll] psychic damage and you must choose at random one spell of the same level from your prepared list, that spell is Mnemoniced for as many long rests as psychic damage you took.

Mnemoniced Spell:
The prepared spell that was replaced by the Arcane Mnemonic casted is affected until 1d4-1 long rests while preparing it again are take place. In the meantime, whenever you try to cast this spell, you must roll any dice, on evens, the original spell is casted, on odds the Arcane Mnemonic casted one is used instead, if you don't have the materials components for the casted spell, the spell fails.
