You have gained your freedom from the Cranlak Legions of Hobgoblin Dev' Karesh Empire, either through escape or from earning the Freedom Token from the Emperor.
Either born into this life or enslaved by fiat or capture, you have survived, somehow.
If you have escaped, you know you are hunted, for none live long who can say they have fled from the dread Empire and it's Legions of the Condemned.
If Freed, you know that others shall hunt you for the Token of Freedom you bear, the Token that allows you free passage and shelter at any and all outposts of the Empire.
In either case, you know you are one of the few to survive and have vowed to live unbound for the remainder of your days. You are now free in the world, and for the first time in your life you have control over where you go and what you do
What you do with this freedom is up to you and you alone, and this feeling both terrifies and excites you as you move into the new world before you
- Skill Proficiencies: Choice of 1 from Survival, Perception, Deception or Intimidation. Also you have gained proficiency in Medicine from your experiences on the Battlefield
- Tool Proficiencies: You have gained skill with Herbalism Kits from your experiences on the Battlefield
- Languages: You are conversant in Goblin and Gnoll(Abyssal) or Orc in addition to Common from your time in the Cranlak Legions
- Equipment: You gain the following
Light Armor (Leather Armor)
Weapons Yklwa and Handaxe
If you were granted your Freedom, you bear a Token, granted by the Emperor in recognition of your survival. This token is only granted to those that have fought and survived 10 major battles in service in the Legions of the Condemned (The Cranlak Legions).
In all the years of the Empire fewer than 100 of these Tokens have been granted, and you are one of the few.
The freedom you currently experience is new, fresh and incredibly precious to you. You both revel and fear new experiences, and are driven to experience everything before this new found freedom is somehow removed from you
