Some time ago in your childhood, you ran into a fey creature. During this interaction, you lied to the creature and it either took offense or it was amused by your tiny Fib. From that day forward you have been followed by a fey creature called a Fib. This creature is rarely seen but when it is around only you can see it. At all times it somehow represents a lie told by the character, recent or otherwise.

Feature: Tradition of the Fib
No Fey creature short of a lord will ever think the character is telling the truth. Fey-related creatures find it hard to trust the character. But no Fey creature would deny the character hospitality. It is very bad luck to force a Fib to sleep without shelter, or so the superstition goes.
Suggested Characteristics
You have learned to live with the lie that haunts you. You are a survivor of your own lie and may be offended when others lie to you without a second thought.
