You are an expert in your field. You come from a world of both study and physical activity, dedicating your life to the collections in your care. Whether preserving scrolls in an archive; cataloging books in a library; or displaying and repairing relics in a museum; you have the skills and knowledge few can match without careful study. Some may view your dedication as a form of narrow-mindedness, but if you don't care for the past who will?

Feature: Font of Knowledge

Your knowledge of your specialist subject is well know in certain fields. You have an advantage talking to anyone who matches your expertise. You can often find a place to hold lectures on your specialist subject, in a library or museum, but possibly also an inn or tavern starved of entertainments. At such a place, you receive free lodging and food of a modest or comfortable standard (depending on the quality of the establishment) as long as you lecture each night of your stay. In addition your lectures make you something of a local figure. When strangers recognise you in a town they generally take a liking to you.
