Raised in the wilderness practically from birth, you have little knowledge of civilized society, but much of the ways of the wild. The entire world outside walls is your home, and you are far more comfortable sleeping under the stars than any roof. You know nature, and nature knows you.
- Skill Proficiencies: During your time in the wild, you have gained the ability to listen to the world around you, and keep yourself alive. You gain proficiency in Nature and Survival.
- Tool Proficiencies: Civilization may be far from your expertise, but you have had to be creative, and learn to use basic tools and useful skills.
- Languages: You've picked up a language or two from passerby and native species in the area, though for the most part, you stick to common and basic understanding of animals' intentions.
- Equipment: Depending on the environment you've grown up in, your equipment may be made of nearby materials, or geared to keep you warm or cool.
Feature: Make Like a Tree
You have no trouble whatsoever in simply disappearing into nature. It matters not if it is an empty plain, a dense forest, or a coastline, you seem to melt into the environment, blending in with the wind and earth around you. You instantly catch onto the rhythm of the area around you, and gain insight into the recent status of the area; if there's been a disturbance to the ecosystem recently, or if this particular part of land has been thriving unusually well.
Suggested Characteristics
Being alone in the wilderness can turn even the most noble of races into snarling beasts - your character may be a solitary creature, afraid and aggressive to the world they were born from, or they may be curious and eager to try out a new lifestyle as it presents itself to them.
