You are the child of Drow Royalty and a human slave. Your Drow heritage would include a noble title, and family lands, but you are a half-breed and seen in the eye of the Drow as the lowest living thing, treated as a being not even worthy of being a slave. To spare you of much suffering due to your blood-line, you were raised by your enslaved parent as a human slave. Beyond the harsh life of being a slave to the Drow, you were cherished and educated by both parents in secret.

As you grew older it became harder to hide your Drow blood, even more so after the aged passing of your human parent. Your Drow parent would aid you in being smuggled out of the Underdark to Abeir-Toril. However things don't go as plan and your Drow parent sacrifices their self to give you a chance to live a free life.

 

In Abeir-Toril, you are distrusted and hated by many due to your Drow features. Humans, though not all, see you as those who enslaved your human parent and took the life of your Drow parent. This causes you to become cold, distant, and untrusting, always wary of your surroundings and those who wish your death.

Skill Proficiencies: You learned quickly that a keen eye and sharp mind was the only way to survive the world. You gain proficiency in Insight, Perception, and Survival.

Tool Proficiencies: Your upbringing gave you education of two separate worlds. You may choose one proficiency from each parent and one proficiency shared by the parents.

Drow - Forgery Kit, Herbalism kit, Painter's supplies, or Poisoner's kit.

Human - Brewer's supplies, Alchemist's supplies, Navigator's tools, Thieves' tools, 

Shared - Dice set, Musical instrument under 3 lb., Playing card set, Disguise kit

Languages: During your time in servitude you learned speech of your fellow slaves. However you were raised speaking both parents native tongues.
