You sailed on one of your world's luxurious merchant skyships. You've seen the world, and visited the all the major skyports of the continents. In that time, you endured mighty storms, served demanding passengers from your world's wealthiest citizens, and faced down the dangers of the sky. Discuss the nature of the ship you previously sailed with your Dungeon Master. Where did you originally come from? How did you get a position on a skyship? Is your former skyship still flying? What places did you see? What was your position - captain, first mate, steward, navigator, quartermaster, boson, engineer, cook, medic, deck-hand?  Why did you leave? Did you leave the ship on good terms, or on the run?

Skill Proficiencies: Persuasion, Perception
Tool Proficiencies: Vehicles (skyships), One of the following (depending on your role with the ship): navigator's tools, carpenter's tools, cartographer's tools, healer's kit, or cooking utensils
Equipment: Rope, Silk (50 feet), a lucky charm and a momento from home (discuss with your DM or you may roll for two random trinkets on the Trinkets Table in chapter 5), a set of fine clothes, and a pouch containing 15 gp

Feature: Skyship's Passage

You can obtain passage on a skyship for yourself and your party, whether it be on your former ship or another that you're familiar with. You cannot alter the current course of the ship, as it has a schedule to maintain, but any skyship can get you to another continent given some time. The skyship's current route is selected by the DM.  You and the rest of the party are expected to help out around the ship since you are getting free passage, and you will likely owe the ship's captain a significant favor.
