Geologist

A geologist studies much more than just stones. They study make up of the planet, it's history based on the rock and soil it is comprised of, and much more including rocks (yes, magical rocks too). Those who practice geology travel to the far corners of the world to study, digging and mining in search of clues that might tell of the creation of the known world, and the mysteries of nature.

Suggested Characteristics

Few geologists can resist the urge to study any new rock formations that come their way, particularly if such a formation is the source of legends or is rumored to have magical properties, even if the formation is dangerous to access. Some geologists research for wealth or fame, while others consider it their calling to make discoveries that can help change the world for the better. Whatever their motivations, geologists combine the qualities of an avid scientist and researcher with the spirit of a young adventurer.
