Pact of the Doll

You were once a typical commoner, having lived a life as a matured adult, living amongst society as a contributing member of it. One day, by chance, you were presented with the gift of eternal youth. A mysterious patron presented you with a peculiar looking doll. They promised that if you looked after it, and cared for it, they would grant you perpetual youth. The patron's offer was enticing, and as such you readily accepted it, without questioning the patron's motive or methods.

The patron delivered on his promise, though it was not what you had expected. The world around you appeared to grow larger and larger as you shrunk down to half your size. The clothes you wore became frilly and bright, like those worn by small children. Your voice rang with a shrill timbre. Your entire outward appearance was warped into that of a toddler.

From that moment on, you were permanently stuck in the body of a four-year-old child. Your memory and mental maturity remained, but the patron would occasionally manifest itself within you through childish actions. If your patron took over your physical body completely, you would appear to be indistinguishable from that of a 4 year old child, holding a peculiar-looking doll.
