You have come back in time to prevent a terrible calamity. You may try to cause minimal timeline damage or you may try to complete your mission at all costs.

Reality Shatter Alternate Option: The DM can make it so your mission can be a failure or success but this option is far different. In this variant you were dragged here by a villain through small timeline changes but now he is here to kill you, take your ship and destroy  the timeline. Talk about a plot twist!

Skill Proficiencies: You have a major proficiency in history and religion as you know this time period front and back. Add 10 to both.

Tool Proficiencies: If your game has guns then lucky you! You are mastered in guns as your time period is adapted to their use in warfare and defense.

Languages: You know common and one other language that you studied.

Equipment: You arrive with a malfunctioning time machine that can make 5 items that are non-magical and kind of rare at best.

Suggested Characteristics

Your character is suggested to not be a villain. It is possible to play as a timeline villain as well though with your goal being to destroy the timeline.
