You have had several parts of your body replaced with mechanical equivalents. Whether as a life saving measure against a consuming disease or enhancements meant to assist in battle, you wear on your body for all to see the evidence that you are (or were at one point) wealthy, important, and connected enough to have this procedure performed.

So many of your internal organs have been enhanced (if not replaced entirely) that you no longer require the same amenities to exist comfortably. You require only four hours of sleep to achieve a long rest. You consume half the food of your fully organic counterparts, and are able to hold your breath for two hours.
Suggested Characteristics
A Patrician-Machina is (or was) wealthy and connected enough to have risky psuedo-medical procedures performed. They may experience chronic pain or consistent infection where their mechanical parts are fused to bone or flesh. Their mechanical parts may experience adverse effects from exposure to rain or submersion in water. Consider why (or if) they chose this life. Was it an act of audacious pride to extend their abilities, or a desperate attempt to stave off death?
You tinker with your components often, and experiment with swapping out parts. You may not have a specific end game in mind, but with each alteration you are learning what makes you tick... literally.
You have as your steadfast companion a small automaton whose prime directive is the repair and maintenance of your mechanical parts. It understands Common and has its own personality, but will obey your orders. It communicates in a series of clicks, clangs, the whirring of gears and release of pressurized steam at different notes. You have been together long enough that you understand this language, though no one else does. Your automaton will not fight for you, though if present while you are in combat will rush to you if you fall and stabilize you. The automaton has the following stat block:
