Your character is a direct descendant of the current King of Damant, but others stand above you for inheritance of the crown. This means you're likely a prince or princess, and must be human. This background will come with a massive social impact, tons of RP opportunity. It also comes with bonus wealth and likely a higher starting level.
Downside is, your character is a well known peer of the realm, and will be treated as such. Your actions reflect on the crown, and you may be subject to events like kidnappings. Additionally, the noble blood of Damant holds a few secrets. They skip generations, they're unknown to most, and you will find out more during play.
Although you're not in direct line of inheritance of the crown, the crown still has much wealth. You posess an Heirloom magic item, the details of which is to be worked out with the DM.
Additionally, if your campaign is to start at level 1, you may start with 1000 extra XP, pushing you into 3rd level.

Suggested Characteristics
Nobles are born and raised to a very different lifestyle than most people ever experience, and their personalities reflect that upbringing. A noble title comes with a plethora of bonds —responsibilities to family, to other nobles (including the sovereign), to the people entrusted to the family’s care, or even to the title itself. But this responsibility is often a good way to undermine a noble.
