You never fit in with the people in your hometown, causing them to hate you for a reason that was never your fault to begin with. The hate you received caused you to leave, finding more solace in nature and the creatures that inhabit the different locations. When you do travel into the different towns, you often to take to staying for very long. You will typically only go for the few odd jobs to get some coin or restock on supplies. You never stay in one place for very long, being sure to stay out of the way of the people. While you are constantly wandering the land, deep down, you want a place to settle down and call your own. But do to the fear of people hating and rejecting you as you had experienced in your own town, you refuse to make connections as to not face disappointment later.

Defining Moment

Before taking the path of a wanderer, there was one defining moment that made you leave. You had received hate from your people but there was this one event, the final straw that made you leave your town and never look back. That moment sits with you, and you’re always thinking about it when you come close to making a connection with anyone. roll or chose one of the moments that set you on the path of the wanderer.

1 The townspeople grew violent and a mob beat you in the street.

10 You were followed by the people telling you horrible things and saying horrible things about you to each other till you couldn’t take it.
 
Feature: Gaze of Mistrust

Anyone who meets you is immediately met with a cold and distant feeling. You are a stranger to them, and a stranger is all you will remain even if you have helped them out. Any who look into your eyes will see the mistrust, as if you’re waiting for them to make a move against you. They will never understand why you have such a distant feeling, nor will you ever stay with them long enough for them to learn.
