Otherworldly Exterminator Image

You've dedicated your life to protecting order on one or more planes of existence. Whether you travel across reality to clear abberations, work with churches to banish demons, or hunt down adventurers who are disrupting the sanctity of the realms, you value order and peace and work to institute that peace wherever you can.

Skill Proficiencies: Otherworldly Exterminators study what is necessary to excel in their line of work.
Tool Proficiencies: Otherworldly Exterminators understand that not everything can be done bare-handed or with magic; Sometimes you need the right tool or the job.
Languages: Otherworldly Exterminators study the languages of the planes that they work on, mastering them to better communicate with their clients (And sometimes, their targets.)

Orders

Otherworldly Exterminators work in different divisions, which determine the Exterminator's title and the type of work they do. An Exterminator's title is formatted as "(Order)-(Employee #)-(Codename)". For example, Ender-83-'Church' and Haven-6-'Wingman'.

Atlas: "General Studies". Atlas group includes the both the heads of the exterminators and the newest recruits, and is the broadest group by far. They specialize in mainly paperwork and low risk field jobs while the new hires are assigned their specializations.

Bullseye: "Salt Circle". Bullseye group is the order that deals with threats of infernal nature. Demons, devils, fiends and the undead. Bullseye is far and beyond the busiest active order on the field.

Charter: "Bouncers". A security force that protects the boundaries and borders between realms. Bouncers spend almost all of their time out on the field.

Domino: "Cloaked Crusaders". Domino group specializes in espionage and dark magic. Among their ranks are rumored to be Liches, Mindflayers, Doppelgangers, Rakshasas, and more magically imbued creatures that have decided to assist the Order, whether it's of their own accord or not. Not much is know about Domino group.

Ender: "Wolfsbane". The group with arguably the most ironic name, as the group is mainly comprised of lycanthropes. In actuality, Ender group deals with bio-organic threats. Any feral beast, disease or plant that poses a large enough threat can expect a visit from these tough-as-nails operatives.

Foil: "Seafarer's Security". Foil group is an Order comprised primarily of pirates, sailors, and other mariners. They serve to contain threats that dwell in the depths, ranging from especially dangerous fish all the way to abyssal horrors like aboleths, or even the Dark Lord Cthulu.

Glare: "Bookwyrms". Glare group seizes and houses some of the most important information in the multiverse. Ancient texts, necronomicons, instructions on how to bring the demise of the world, all among the texts in the near infinite library that houses the Order.

Haven: "Wooden Stake". The order that deals with supernatural threats, Haven group is kitted out specifically to take down and capture vampires, ghosts, and other monstrosities. They're in competition with Bullseye group for the title of 'busiest group'.

Idol: "Riot Control". Idol group, as the name would suggest, deals with domestic threats. Humanoids who get up to no good and attract the attention of the Exterminators get a front row seat to the work of Riot Control. Despite the commonality of their targets, Idol group is arguably the Order that requires the most skill to serve in, due to the unpredictability of humanoids being one of their defining features.

Juniper: "Reservists". Juniper group is the back-up Order. Jacks of All Trades, masters of some, the Reservists are the grunts of the Exterminators. Interdimensional beat cops who possess the skill required to assist any other Order that needs help.

Kino: "Asimov's Police". The group that specializes in mechanical threats. Out of control robots and interdimensional-threat level constructs are not a problem for this Order or artificers, alchemists, and enchanters.

Legacy: "Last Line". Legacy group is the most esteemed Order among the ranks, and unlike the other Divisions, one must earn their place among the Last Line. Called in to deal with anything from world ending to multiverse ending threats, the Last Line employs the help of deities, archfey, and cosmic entities alongside their most skilled mortal hunters.

Feature: Protector's Prowess

When trying to track down a target, be it one given by a local civilian bounty or by your divison leader, your professionalism and evident devotion to your duty compels people to assist you in meaningful ways. When you ask someone a question related to your current job, and the subject does not have a positive personal connection to your target, they feel the need to give you as precise and helpful an answer as they can.
