You were born as an average person who led an average life. But at some point you found yourself in a strange situation that turned your simple life upside down. Perhaps it came from the sky, or came in a dream, or a gift from a stranger. This event changed who you were, for better or for worse. Most importantly gave you new abilities that you could never have dreamed of before, a powerful magic you had never seen. With your new found abilities you see the road ahead leads to greatness.
- Skill Proficiencies: You still have memories of your simple life, but your new abilities come with foreign knowledge of how to wield them. You gain proficiency in Arcana as well as one skill of your choosing.
- Tool Proficiencies: In your simple life you had to work with your hands to make ends meet. Perhaps it was the family trade or a new business. Or perhaps even you lived a more lavish life off of your families gold and spent your days idly. You are proficient with one tool or game set of your choice.
- Languages: The knowledge that has been bestowed upon you comes with the innate knowledge of a language not spoken by mortal tongue. Choose one language out of Infernal, Abyssal, Celestial, Sylvan, or Primordial.
- Equipment: You gain an explorer's kit, a memento from your home, a small chunk of an unidentifiable crystal, and 10gp.
However you gained your magical powers there is one thing for certain, they come from within you. If your class requires you to have an arcane focus you can disregard that.

Your powers did not come to you graciously or comfortably. When you gained your magical abilities it was as if the powers overtook your body, very painfully. There is a blatant mark of your powers on your body. Perhaps your eyes are unusually colored, your skin glows lightly, or more drastically you could have parts of your body overtaken by crystals. Nevertheless you are a sore thumb in most crowds, and any areas that are adverse to magic will most likely not let you near.

This is really cool! Well done revision of the existing inheritor and very interesting :)
