You have charted the heavens, noted the stars’ alignments in the night sky, and utilized this knowledge to predict the future joys and sorrows of others. You may also have seen the connection between celestial bodies and the gods themselves. Either way, you know the stars like the back of your hand and many seek answers from your wisdom.

Celestiologists are experts at combining arts and science. A celestiologist must always balance interpretation with facts, using their best judgment based on both knowledge and intuition.

Equipment: A set of Diviner’s Tools (Ornate fortune cards, dragon bones, gem-inlaid sticks, or other similar items), a set of Artisan’s Tools or a set of Navigator’s Tools, a set of traveler’s clothes or common clothes, a spy glass, a mysterious trinket, a bottle of black ink, an ink pen, a book detailing basic constellations and their alignment or a book about your discoveries  or 10 sheets of blank parchment, and a belt pouch containing 10 gp.

Celestiologists range from free-spirited artists and entertainers to perfectionistic students of the gods and heavens. They are often humble and friendly, particularly when using their knowledge as fortune tellers. The more studious celestiologists tend to be confident in their place in the universe and avoid entanglements with smaller, local conflicts. Celestiologists love adventuring to gain more knowledge of nature and the universe, or to prevent ominous events from occurring.
