The Long and Arduous Story

You are in many stories as the good, the bad, and the ugly, all true.  Your story takes you back hundreds of years, through many generations.  You are familiar with the local lands and many tails.  However, none can live to your dark and heinous upbringing, which you see as a horrible part of your life.  You are making up for the bad you have done slowly over time.

You have seen many villages rise and fall.  Known as a local who has saved many people many times you are well respected.  They will help only if they don't know your past of harm and killing.  You are depicted throughout history as a legend and a folk tale when you are real.  Many stories depict a strong person with a big heart, and others as a demon with no soul it depends on who you ask.  You have a few people who know your secret but are sworn to secrecy about it.  All to protect those in your home.
