Alchemist Image

Collecting various ingredients to combine into works of chemical reaction that border on magic. Some locals whisper that perhaps you are druid, or a mage of some sort, but it's just science. You may have worked in your own shop, served as apprentice to an older, more experienced alchemist, or just tinkered on your own until you learned your way around the ways of chemicals and cooking with fire.

 
Skill Proficiencies: You gain proficiency in arcananature, and your choice of medicine or survival.
Tool Proficiencies: You gain proficiency with Alchemist's Supplies and your choice of Herbalism Kit or Poisoner's Kit.
Languages: You gain proficiency in two languages of your choice, as you sometimes have to journey outside of your home to find the ingredients you need for your experiments.
Equipment: You start with Alchemist's Supplies, your choice of an Herbalism Kit or Poisoner's Kit, a set of common clothes, several books on alchemy including recipes and studies, and a pouch containing 5 gp.
 
Feature: A Formula for That

You may use your Alchemist's Supplies to give yourself advantage on any arcana check dealing with an item or substance. Additionally, people have been known to come to you for things like identifying potions, creating potions, applying alchemical compounds to equipment (such as waterproofing a cloak or making a sword resistant to dulling), and other tasks befitting your station. You can double your proficiency bonus when using your Alchemist Supplies to accomplish such tasks. The DM has final judgment on whether the task fits your role as an alchemist.

Alchemists pride themselves on making more effective concoctions, you will always strive and spend your spare time trying to make yours more effective.
