Descent Into The Dark Image

You started out as a normal child but as you got older you started receiving whispers from an unknown deity. These sometimes came in the form of dreams but mostly they were just voices that spoke to you as if they were next to your ear, making a shiver run down your spine. They urged you to do good, protect the innocent, and always stand up for the underprivileged. While you've done this for most of your life, you start to wonder if it's really worth it. All of this selfless work left you feeling neglected, during all of this you have struggled to get by. Yet all this so-called god has asked of you is to do everything for others. If they don't care about your well-being, why should you listen? Maybe it's time to stop listening. Maybe you should rebel against everything you've ever been told is right. It's time for a change, let go and listen to the darkness building inside of you.

The Hardship

At some point in your life you experienced something difficult to live with or overcome. This could be in result of a good deed that your deity told you to do or it could be something that has happened to you that makes you feel like your deity abandoned you or won't reward you for doing it's work.

You cant help but feel a disdain for people that still follow their gods like sheep. Sometimes you have an uncontrollable need to do something deemed wrong or illegal.
