You shall live while the clock still ticks...

Those who see you, can already tell your different. You are able to perceive time as your own. You leave a trace of after images wherever you go (Amount of after Images is equal to level - Every 1/4 of lost HP, maximum of 5 and minimum of 1), After images created stay for 2 rounds and you can freely move back as a reaction to any one of your after images, when moving back to an older after image, any after image created after that is destroyed, due to your after images you have disadvantage to any rolls that use Dexterity(stealth) check or hiding in combat. While having after images, enemies must reduce their attack to hit with the number of after images you currently have.You can go back to any point of time of an Afterimage and you require no extra movement needed when doing so (e.g; When you fall off a cliff accidentally and have to go back up, you can instead use a more previous after image to get back up again, you can't however use this ability to go back to an afterimage on another plane of existence), and this does not recover any hit points lost after that after image nor will it cure any disease or curse, this only displaces your location and nothing else.
Your mind is distorted from the impact of time, Memories you are fond of are kept, However any other memories or thinking are hard to perceive. Any spell, Artifact, or Creature that tries to probe your mind are quickly negated due to your distorted nature.
Since you are able to perceive time as your own you are able to negate any spell that affects the flow of time for creatures affected (e.g; Slow, Time stop, Time ravage, Lair actions), this however only negates the effect for you and not your allies.

You can choose this Variant freely.
Prior to being cast-out, Hunted down, or escaping an Evil sorcerer, your family, whatever Hunts you now. Still tries to seek you, and have now cursed you with an Inescapable death of pursuing time. Instead of HP your Health becomes time (As Default you have 100 [Your Choice] or years equal to max length of aging of your race, To calculate Hit points Years are 1/4 Hit point rounded up, Each Level up Adds 1/10 of Current Max years rounded down + Constitution Modifier, Every level adds extra 10 years to current max years), You are unaffected by Temporary Hit points given to you or Any spell, creature or artifact that tries to Heal you through any means, Except through time are negated, Anything else that also gives you extra Hit points are negated.
Start at max amount of after images. Max amount of after images becomes 2. Same rules apply as Relative Time on Ability to move back to an after image, In this feature After images are split fragile timeline's of yourself and gain Same Stats as you but instead have 25% lower AC, Hitpoints and Spellslots, When you are hit or damaged by an ability, spell or attack, the Attack will always be considered as Force Damage, No matter what, and Damage taken in the real body is Reduced by 25% rounded down for how much After images you have. Creatures can Attack your afterimage and deal 25% of the damage dealt, back to you, Any after image that falls down to 0 Hit points disappears and you are pulled to its position ignoring any Obstacles or paths blocking and clipping through walls if needed(When being pulled creatures can not take an opportunity attack on you). After images have sentience and you are able to command them. Any Attack or spell they do will be 25% less damage. During Combat Afterimages regain spellslots every round of combat and are able to be dismissed then Summoned to a location you have been in as a bonus action, when out of combat Afterimages regain spellslots each time they are dismissed then summoned again, This action takes a whole 6 seconds. There is no limit to how far an After Image can be from you except when in a different plane from you will they dissappear after an Hour has passed, they may also in a location if asked. You are able to see and hear through the senses of an after image no Matter how far they are except when in a different plane of existence, Doing so, you will be switched to their senses and you are blind and deaf regard to your own senses, however you can still feel through touch from your own body.
You regain Hit points on any creature that dies within 60 ft of you (You are unable to stop this effect from happening). Regained Hit points are equal to their 1/4 Max hit Points + Their constitution modifier + your constitution modifier, You cannot regain Hit points from Constructs or Undead. Long rests damage you for 1d6 and Short rests damage you for 1d4. Any extra Hit points regained Becomes Reserved Time (Temporary Hit points are stored, Any Temporary Hitpoints gained add up to the current Temporary hitpoints you currently have), Any spell that affects the flow of time for creatures affected (e.g; Slow, Time stop, Time ravage, Lair actions), Can affect you in numerous ways through Damage, Invulnerability or Damage Reduction, The Player and DM must agree on what happens when affected.
Due to your Scattered and Multiple Instances of time in a single plane, Your mind is distorted and shattered but Memories you are fond of are kept, However anything else with no importance are broken up and shattered to a million information making Any spell, Artifact, or Creature that tries to probe or affect your mind are negated of any effect (e.g; Phantasmal Force, Modify Memory, Detect Thoughts, etch.)
With this Variant Background, You and your After images are considered Quasi-Constructs with Humanoid traits, without the damage and condition immunities.
