You have grown up with a hammer in your hand and ash in your face. The sound of pounding iron and raging fires is the language you know best. You have created and refined weapons, armour, and tools from the hardest of steels. Now it's time to refine yourself to create a great adventurer.

Skill Proficiencies: Athletics, Perception
Tool Proficiencies: Smith's tools, and one other type of artisan’s tools.
Equipment: A set of artisan’s tools (one of your choice), and Smith's, tools

Feature: Blacksmith improvement

Over the many years you have been a smith, you have gained some skills. You can see every imperfection in iron work, metals have become so familiar to you that you can almost sense thier presence now, Keeping a raging fire ablaze is no trouble for you. Together these skills allow you to improve weapons in almost any location.

If the location fits at the DM's discretion, search for a specific metal in your surroundings for an hour. Role a 1d6 to determine how much of the metal you find. you may spend a short rest refining, polishing, sharpening, and improving the weapon. With 3 units of a metal,  increase the damage +1 for an light weapon of the same metal. Or do the same with 6 units for a Martial weapon. This cannot stack and the buff ends after 1 day in which the weapon is used.

If you search for silver, you may instead silver the weapons.
