You have a reputation that only the most unlearned individual wouldn't recognize, this allows you into the more noble area's and social circles of the elite. You are welcome in high society, and people assume you have the right to be wherever you are.The traders and craftsmen of the world are your kin and will give you information and help when asked. 

You always know how to find the nearest enchanter or blacksmith, wherever you are.

Arcane Smith's share a love of the craft and and of magic, and many of them are in service to kings, and nobles which tends to make them very professional and well mannered. But some have an abundance of carefree characteristics. There might be certain codes one may need to adhere to when dealing with the arcane, but the promise of knowledge and power sways most.
