Born of Vanaheim, you chose to a abandon your home, with little knowledge of traversing the Bifrost and seemingly no way back. You spend your days travelling, searching after forgotten lore and offering your skills to the sick and wounded.
You have made a handful friends and several allied families, gained from your pacifying influence, wisdom and willingness to help. Though you often only meet them once or twice, having a strange and forgetful sense of time, you will suddenly realise decades have gone past in your travels. Due to this you are more often friends with family lines, with the youngest generation only knowing you through children's tales, until you pass by once more. The Norns spinning new tales to be told by the hearth in later days.
A common description in tales is of a unremarkable figure cloaked in grey, only defined by accompanying raven. With this in contrast to a kind, though un-telling face. Your apparent youth and pointed ears being favourite source of speculation for children. Your sharp eyes and and occasional piercing stare in combination with a well trained raven gives the more learned either apprehension or content at your possible association with the All-Father.
Whilst healing and recovering forgtten knowledge is your lifes work, sharing a home cooked meal (and of course recipes) with others is a great personal joy.
From a young age you were infatuated with the smell of slowly cooking aromatics and the taste of the resulting creation. Often around your older relatives as they began preparation for evening meals, you gained skill, fascination and interest in food. From growing and foraging herbaceous plants, spices, both subtle and strong, to the importance of food for a people and their strong association with culture and home.

A Healer is defined by their knowledge and readiness to help. As exited as they are for an opportunity to delve into ruins for knowledge long lost to men, they are just as willing to spend the time to gather and brew herbal medicines for the sick and wounded. This has led to much gratitude and remembrance. You are often welcomed by those who know you, and those who do will usually wish to aid you somehow.
Healers are well liked by both the common folk and noble clans, though those who fear knowledge and self reliance will be disgruntled by their arrival..
When you attempt to learn or recall a piece of lore, if you do not know that information, you often know where and from whom you can obtain it. Usually, this information comes from a library, scriptorium, university, or a sage or other learned person or creature. Your DM might rule that the knowledge you seek is secreted away in an almost inaccessible place, or that it simply cannot be found. Unearthing the deepest secrets of the multiverse can require an adventure or even a whole campaign.
