Toxicology is a discipline, overlapping with arcana, alchemy, herbalism, and medicine that involves the study of the adverse effects of magically altered chemical substances on living organisms and the practice of diagnosing and treating exposures to toxins and toxicants. Most Toxicologists use their knowledge of the skill to help cure and counteract negative side effects of various toxins but there are those that manipulate plants and toxins to create lethal poisons with deadly side effects.

Toxicological Specialization

All Toxicologist's have an area they excel in. Choose a specialty or roll on the table below.

d6 Toxicological Specialization
1 Healing
2 Creating Poisons
3 Genetic manipulation of plant matter
4 Identifying toxins
5 Creating medicinal remedies
6 Roll again twice

Feature: Feature: Herbology

You have been able to identify and grow a plant that when refined allows you to either heal, harm or incapacitate another creature (Work with your Dungeon Master to determine this plants characteristics).

Your plant grows fast and each week you are able to harvest enough ingredients for 4 doses. Each of the following remedies requires 1 dose of ingredient.

Healing Salve - During a long rest you are able to create a healing salve that can restore a number of hit points equal to your Proficiency modifier + your Wis modifier.

Drop of Nightshade - During a long rest you are able to create a weak poison capable of harming an individual if ingested. The damage equals 1D6 multiplied by your proficiency modifier.

Goodnights Kiss - During a long rest you are able to create a finely powdered compound that when inhaled forces the target to attempt a Constitution Saving throw or fall asleep. The DC is equal to 10 + Wis modifier + your proficiency modifier.
