You were a child abandoned and the found in an ancient ruin by a Moon elf trickster sage whose name was Andraste Naïlo who was on a exploration. As the years went by you learnt many things while travelling around the known realm such as magic, skills a criminal has and swordsmanship. After 10 years she took you to a temple where you were left to begin your training as a paladin, while still holding your master and the skills you learnt in your heart.
