Artisan’S Child Image

One of your parents is an artisan, and you’ve been toddling around their workspace since you could crawl. As a result, you’ve learned the tools and skills of their trade through observation and from what they’ve taught you. As if that wasn’t enough, one of their artisan friends in a different guild used to let you run around their workspace when your parents needed someone to watch you, and they taught you their tools as well.

Skill Proficiencies: Sleight of hand, Perception
Tool Proficiencies: Two types of artisan’s tools
Equipment: A set of artisan’s tools (one of your choice), a letter of introduction from your parent, a set of traveler’s clothes, and a pouch containing 15 gp

Feature: Artisan’s Network

So long as you have the letter of introduction from your parent, any artisan in your parent’s line of work will hire you as long as you have a reasonable reputation. In addition, if you keep good will with the artisans of your parent’s guild and/or line of work, they will try to be helpful in providing you with reasonable help and information, provided it doesn’t put them in harm’s way.
