The Time Runners are an old faction, dating back to man's first discovery of time. They seek to learn the art of time and the skills necessary to manipulate it. Whether you were born into this group or went through a series of grueling trials to join, you are in esteemed company. Time Runners let very few into their ranks, most possess Time Runner blood somewhere in their ancestry, though the individual may not always know it. Not all with Time Runner blood have the abilities of a Time Runner and not all those who do choose to accept their abilities. Those who contain the abilities of a Time Runner are able to see and understand time in ways others can not. A few extremely powerful Time Runners have been known to possess the ability to perform small scale manipulation of Time. Those who take up the title of Time Runner may do so for many different reasons, some wish to understand the great mysteries of time, some seek control over time, and some believe that being able to manipulate time is the key to defying death.

Time Runners are a secretive group and don't tend to advertise themselves as Time Runners, that is presuming that others would believe them even if they did. As a Time Runner you are able to send a secret signal that only other Time Runners will know and understand, any Time Runners in the area can respond by using a similar signal that only you will understand.
