There are many kinds of criminals, and within a thieves’ guild or similar criminal organization, individual members have particular specialties. Even criminals who operate outside of such organizations have strong preferences for certain kinds of crimes over others. Choose the role you played in your criminal life, or roll on the table below.

If you are in or nearby a major settlement, you contact agents of your clan and arrange for help. This often comes in the form of them calling in a few favours in order to pull a few strings. In addition you can find refuge if there is a base, in one form or another, in the nearby area. However, the clan will only provide assistance if they can reasonably do so and it won't risk exposing them. They also may deny you assistance if you have acted against their interests, such as putting another agent in unnecessary danger or failing an assignment.
