You live in a land filled with golems, you grew up fascinated by them. How are they made, what keeps them going, who repairs them when they break? When you came of age to take a job, you found the profession of Golem Keeper. Keepers help build and maintain the various golems throughout the region. Whether it be sculpting the stone body, forging the metal supports, or carving the wooden joints, there are even the few Keepers that have the most important job of enchanting the golem and determining its purpose, Keepers are an invaluable part of society.
- Tool Proficiencies: Mason's tools, Smith's tools, and Carpenter's tools
- Equipment: Mason's tools, a set of plain work clothes including overalls and leather boots, and a pouch of 10 gp
Feature: Tricks of the trade
Due to the constant work that accompanies the profession of Golem Keeper, even the greenest of Keepers can quickly pick up a few things about their craft. Having spent so much time assembling golems you know where to strike to deal the most damage. Should you ever have to fight one, whenever a golem has default immunity to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing from nonmagical attacks that aren't adamantine, you treat it as resistance, and whenever a golem has default resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing from nonmagical attacks that aren't adamantine, you ignore that trait and deal full damage. You also gain advantage on any ability checks and saving throws that your DM may have you make when repairing a golem.
