At one point, you reached an incredibly high office. You may or may not have deserved it, but you garnered enough support to assume the position of power. Your confidence carried you through, and you surrounded yourself with people who believed in you, who bolstered your ego, and shared similar goals as you. 

Unfortunately, those shared goals were getting more power and riches for yourselves, with no real regard for those who you governed over. Your arrogance and inability to attract talented or competent people to work for you was immediately apparent, and any criticism of you or your decisions enraged you, making you spiteful.

You were overwhelmingly, and unceremoniously thrown from position amid countless scandals and infighting. Of course as this happened you fought back with your few remaining followers, and tried to carry out an ultimately unsuccessful coup against your replacement.

You still have to remain in contact with your faithful supporters who are waiting for you to rise up again and take over from your hard working successor. You have regular contact with an individual who is acting as your go between to the underground rebellion. The individual is either your same sex or opposite sex child, your legal counsel, a political dirty trickster, a foreign advisor, or a formerly jailed military general.

1	My child of the same sex. They're incompetent. Desperate for my approval. The apple didn't fall far from the tree.
2	My child of the opposite sex. The one I doted on. Very attractive. Ruthless and perhaps my biggest threat. VERY attractive.
3	My legal counsel. Always steers me wrong. Once very respected, but seems to be going senile, and can't remember basic facts anymore, but that doesn't stop them from speaking as if they do.
4	Political Dirty Trickster. My propaghandist right hand. A long relationship which requires me to bail them out of trouble they constantly get into for skirting the law to help me.
5	Foreign Advisor. Someone paid by a foreign government to help form my policies, choose my associates, and make my decisions. I have no doubts he's got my best interests in mind.
6	Jailed Military General. A political ally who was caught early on in my grift. Instead of playing repentant, they saw the advantage in doubling down in support of me. They don't believe the propaganda, but they play as if they do for my supporters.
