Captive Image

A significant portion of your life was defined by captivity. In that time, you were forced to adapt to a foreign environment and way of life, until it became the only thing that you knew. Life as a captive has molded and shaped you with so many influences that you are a confusing yet keen mixture of the training, abuse, and tricks from your surroundings which provides you with a store of knowledge to prepare you for the overwhelming possibility of freedom.

State of Captivity

Captivity is not limited to being locked away in a prison for crimes. Many captives are put to forced labor as slaves, subject to a rigorous tyranny, or coerced by contract or some form of leverage to do the bidding of a master. Some though, are kept as esteemed servants of a great lord of king. Whether for a heinous crime, slander, a grudge, or as part of a conquest, captives' lives are shaped by a life without freedoms. Choose the circumstances of your captive life or roll on the table below.

d4 State of Captivity
1 Imprisoned
2 Enslaved

Feature: Blotted Past

Due to your blotted past, few people can discern your origins. You can easily blend into any low class or unruly crowd without arousing suspicion. In this position you tend to go unnoticed and thus it is a simple task to pick up the latest news and gossip running through the surrounding area.
