Wanderer Image

You've lived most of your life on the open road, sleeping under the stars and relying on the kindness of strangers. You might have run away from home as a child, overcome by wanderlust. You might have lost everything and been forced to tramp the dusty trails, running from the problems of your past life. Either way, you don't have a home to go back to, and you now focus on the road ahead.

Skill Proficiencies: Perception, Survival
Tool Proficiencies: One type of gaming set
Languages: One of your choice
Equipment: A gaming set (one of your choice),  a handmade map of the surrounding areas, a set of traveler's clothes, and a pouch containing 5 gp, a small knife, a trinket of your choice

Feature: Rambler's Shelter

You've honed the art of wheedling and looking piteous to gain charity from others. Most folk will give you shelter under their roofs in exchange for your doing some chores or telling them tales of your travels, unless you have shown yourself to be a danger to them. They will shield you from the law or anyone else searching for you, though they will not risk their lives for you.

Suggested Characteristics

Wanderers are constant strangers by nature, and many folk don't trust them. Some are embittered by this, whereas others seek to prove them wrong. They tend to have unique personalities, either way.
