The Order of the Dragonslayer are a secretive society of Blood Hunters formed by the Priesthood of Bahamut of which little is known. The Priesthood is part of the Drakiin community, a race of half-elf, half dragon who hail from the fey wilds. This community has rarely been seen or visited by outsiders throughout the ages as a result of the nature of their treetop villages being difficult to locate. The Order is dedicated to seeking out the influence of Tiamat and destroying it wherever it is found.
- Skill Proficiencies: The Priesthood insured that the members of the Order are well-versed in religious influences so that they may track their quarry. The Drakiin race is also naturally gifted in tracking, and stealth as a result of years of effort to remain hidden from the outside world in the confines of the fey wild.
- Tool Proficiencies: One of the aspects of the natural world that the Order studies is alchemical properties. Due to the remote nature of those in the Order, an understanding of how to create healing poultices and poisons was cultivated.
- Languages: The Order typically speaks in two languages, Draconic and Sylvan, in order to honor their ancestors. The order also taught a rough form of common, in order to ensure that they might be able to understand outside communities while they seek their prey.
- Equipment: Upon becoming a full fledged member of the Order each initiate receives a custom bow, infused with the element of their ancestral dragon line. They are also awarded robes of their elven lineage, preferring to remain unarmored in their approach.
Drakiin are slender and graceful with the males boasting a slightly more muscular frame than the females as well as being taller. They are born without permanent wings and tails due to them being able to sprout and dismiss them magically as they mature. Unlike their dragon parents drakiin seem to fall short in the brute strength department but make up the difference with their arcane skill and agileness.
Your eladrin heritage combined with your draconic blood allows you to magically sprout feathered wings from your back at will. You gain a flying speed of 30ft. You cannot fly if:
- You are wearing medium or heavy armor
- Your carry weight capacity has been exceeded
