Since childhood, you've spent your day toiling away in Santa Claus' toy factory. The Claus' draconian rule over the workshop continues to worsen as the massive surge in world population has forced you and your fellow elves to work longer hours, at a faster pace than ever before. You've forgotten what flesh air feels like, haven't seen a snowflake in years, and can't even remember the last time you've had a good night's rest.
To save yourself and your fellow elves from this predicament, you've joined the Union for the Liberation of Elves, or ULE. The ULE is a revolutionary group which aims to take down the Claus and take control of the workshop. But within the group there is a lot of in-fighting about how exactly this is to be accomplished, and what should happen after. The de facto leader, Lenny, wants to replace Santa's workshop with a worker's paradise, though not all elves agree with his ideas. The internal power struggle makes planning difficult, and as Christmas approaches, tensions are at an all-time high.
- Skill Proficiencies: Religion and your choice between Arcana, Animal Handling, Performance, and Survival.
- Tool Proficiencies: Two of your choice between Calligrapher's Supplies, Carpenter's Tools, Cobbler's Tools, Glassblower's Tools, Jeweler's Tools, Leatherworker's Tools, Painter's Supplies, Potter's Tools, Smith's Tools, Tinker's Tools, Weaver's Tools and Woodcarver's Tools, and one type of gaming set.
- Languages: Gnomish
- Equipment: A gaming set or instrument, a set of worker's tools, and a set of funny-looking green workers' clothes.
You know which of your fellow elves are members of the ULE and can use these contacts to get toys and other supplies, coordinate actions, and organise strikes and revolts.
