You grew up as the son of an innkeeper. As such you have seen travelers from far and wide and maybe even picked up a thing or two from those folks from far away when they told their stories hoping to leave you standing in awe. You also managed to gain a little insight into the way to handle people, and how to treat them leave out an extra copper for you.
In your town you know the ways around, as well as most shortcuts.
- Tool Proficiencies: One type of musical instrument
- Languages: Three of your choice
- Equipment: A staff, a set of traveler’s clothes, and a pouch containing 2 gp, 25 sp and 30 cp.
You’ve heard of strange places and things that others cannot begin to fathom. Consider how some of the tales you have heard, and how they impacted you.
You know the secret patterns and flow to towns as well as the ways of the innkeepers, and can find passages through the urban sprawl that others would miss. When you are not in combat, you (and companions you lead) can travel between any two locations in settlements that share your hometown's culture twice as fast as your speed would normally allow, and innkeepers of the same culture are easier to persuade.
