Mystery Box Special

Roaming from Mists of The Great Sphere, such characters awaken with amnesia not knowing who they are or much about the world around them. They are as mysterious and dark as the mists from whence they came …..   

Simply put, the D.M. creates a background of a player based off the choices the player makes in proficiencies. Character has no idea who they are and suffer from amnesia. Perfect for drop in characters who join campaign late or who’s original character has met its end. Works amazingly for a Curse of Strahd campaign. For all intents and purposes, the D.M. wants to be J.J. Abrams with less lens flairs (see Ray from star wars or Lost, etc....... joking J.J. :P). 

Skill Proficiencies: Proficient in 2 skills the player chooses: any 2

Tool Proficiencies: Tool Proficient in any one skill: any 1

Languages: Language: Any 1

Equipment: Equipment: 220 G.P. worth of equipment plus 2 trinkets (D.M. should come up with the trinkets to link to back story, or completely random to mess the players head 😊). The starting gold may be altered if the characters are much higher level. This replaces any starting equipment. Trinkets can be replaced with magic items if the level calls for such altering and it fits the campaign setting.
