Seeker Of The Song Image

"Do you know the song?  I will find the song, or another will find the song, but the song will be sung in this year or another."

You seek the primal song of creation itself.  This may be an individual quest, or one undertaken by your entire culture.  You may have been exposed to the song itself at some point (and now seek to hear it again), or you may only know of the existence of the song.  Whether you have heard the song or not, you are certain you will know it when you hear it.  It is up to you and your DM if the song actually exists or is merely the impetus to drive you along a life of adventure.  In either case, since the song could be anywhere or known by anyone, you have traveled far and wide and collected many other songs and stories.  You are accustomed to being self sufficient and have been exposed to numerous local cultures.

Skill Proficiencies: History and one of the following: Investigation, Performance, Survival
Tool Proficiencies: One type of musical instrument or None
Languages: One of your choice or two if you did not select an instrument (you spent more time listening to the songs and stories of others than sharing your own)
Equipment: Chalk, Cook's utensils, Many maps of local areas or a detailed one of a large area, marked with places you have been, A musical instrument (the one you are proficient in, if applicable), A set of traveling clothes, A sewing kit, and A trinket from somewhere you have traveled.

Feature: Traveling Storyteller

You have spent much of your adult life traveling, living among people from many different regions and cultures.  You have gathered quite a collection of stories and songs and came to understand these cultures; feeling at ease among all but the most alien cultures.

You have advantage on any checks made to understand local customs and to gather information.  Additionally, you can often find a place to orate or perform, usually in an inn or tavern but possibly with a circus, a theater, or even in a noble's court.  At such a place, you can usually barter to receive lodging and food in exchange for sharing stories or performing minor repairs.
