Ex-Slave

You were sold by your parents as a child, leading you to live a very rough life until you could afford your own freedom. During this time you learned skills that could end up being helpful throughout your life, including but not limited to the ability to survive with the bare minimum, frugality and how to barter, how to cook things many would not, and the ability to identify harmful or poisonous plants, as well as many ways of menial labor.

Suggested Characteristics

Ex-Slaves hate slavery and will go out of their way to prevent it from happening to others. Ex-slaves are a grab-bag of people, leading to very different people.
