You've spent years studying the intricacies of spellcraft under a master magic-user, or perhaps you've been blessed with an understanding of how spells work and have hones your skills on your own. You know how to craft spells that defy the beliefs of other people. For you, the casting of any spell is more than a rote recitation of magic words and sprinkling of material components, it's an art. You laugh at those wizards who memorize their spellbooks and the warlocks who follow their orders. You're not like them, you're something else. Something better.

Additionally, you can take on odd jobs in any city, as you create runes and glyphs for the people who live there, which can allow you to stay at certain establishments for no or reduced cost.
