War has been your life for as long as you care to remember. You trained as a youth, studied the use of weapons and armor, learned basic survival techniques, including how to stay alive on the battlefield. You might have been part of a standing national army or a mercenary company, or perhaps a member of a local militia who rose to prominence during a recent war.

When you choose this background, work with your DM to determine which clan you were a part of, how far through its ranks you progressed, and what kind of experiences you had during your life. Was it a small clan or a large clan, Honorable Hunters, or Bad Bloods? Was your clan one with great influence, or one of very little influence? You may not belong to any clan, be it from being exiled, the clan being wiped out, or even scattered after some event.

Skill Proficiencies: Perception, Intimidation
Tool Proficiencies: Bone Dice gaming set, taxidermy
Languages: Yautja

Specialty

During your general training, you also were trained to Hunt "sacred prey" of your people. Discuss with the DM as to what is your Sacred Prey. Chose a rank that corresponds with your starting level, discuss with the DM. Hunting and Killing this Sacred Prey is a big part in rising in the Ranks of your Clan.

d6 Specialty
1 Elder
2 Elite
3 Pack Leader
4 Blooded
5 YoungBlood
6 UnBlooded

Feature: Clan Rank and Allegience

Your reputation as Hunter determines your standing amongst your people. Are you a lowly Unblooded who has only just completed their training, or are you a seasoned Hunter that others aspire to be?

If you are a part of a Clan, then they are your family. From your Siblings, to your Trainers, to Elders you look up to, to Younger Hunters below your rank.

Always engage in good hunting practices, for you never know when one of them is watching you from afar. To break the code is an easy way to be killed or exiled.

If you encounter fellow clan members, then they will assist you however they can. However, if you encounter rival clan members, or former comrades in arms, they are likely to kill you.

Suggested Characteristics

To defeat worthy opponents is the key to High Honor, to gain a reputation in the eyes of your people, and all the benefits that come with it.

Better to die as a True Hunter, then to Die without Honor.
