You wake in a cage, a heavy cloth draped over the cramped space. The rumbling of cartwheels creak and groan under the added weight of the load other than yourself. You don't know where you are, or where you are going, only that you had been sold. Your Owner has sold you to a group of evil adventurers and you are expected to be fully obedient to this new group. Your manacles jostle and clink over the bumps until finally the cart stops. Voices are heard as the one that sold you tells them to keep you caged unless being used to hunt or track. It is a familiar warning given. After all you are considered dangerous, a killer. Should you ever go free, you would be immediately killed. As the cover is pulled back, you see the chain leash in hand and a pronged choke collar. You are soon collared and leashed, brought before the party. In your eyes is nothing but disdain and a relentless conditioning of obedience and coldness that speaks to your dangerous nature. The party pays the hefty sum and is told to keep you on a strict diet, just enough to keep you alive, but not enough to make you full. You are kept hungry, always hungry, making you want to work harder to earn treats or meals to stave off the gnawing pain for just a bit longer. You are a Shadow Slave, a trained killer born of stealth and dexterity.

You have gone through your life training to be a slave that is used for hunting down prey and killing it upon command of your handler. Now you find yourself sold to your new Owner and are taken to a new place far from what you have ever known. You accept your position as your Owner’s property, and you do not attempt escape.

Should you need to escape a combat situation, you get advantage on slipping away into a forested area at the 1st level. You do not provoke an opportunity attack when your opponent is distracted by other situations. This includes facing away from, someone else attacking, or something else causing the creature to be distracted from paying attention to you. You must roll a Dexterity Saving Throw of DC15 to succeed in slipping away

You are a person that can intimidate most with a simple fierce furrowing of the brow. Those that cross your path are in danger of provoking an attack from you should your Owner command it. Often you are silent and keep to yourself or remain at the feet of your Owner unless otherwise told. You remain alert and are constantly using your passive perception to pick up on subtle clues to anyone or anything that may want to harm your Owner or the party. Upon seeing this, you are moved to action unless called down from attacking by your Owner or a member of the Party you are in. Your first attack in such a situation is always done with advantage and your intimidation is also at advantage.
