Though the events of Infernalization have left their physical toll on you, they have not claimed your soul in its entirety. As such, you have become a rare fiendish entity bordering the line between mortal and infernal. As such you have been left with the unique ability to confront and interact with the souls of cursed creatures.
- Skill Proficiencies: Choose two from among Arcana, Investigation, Religion, or History
- Languages: Choose two, one of which must be Abyssal, Celestial, Deep Speech, Draconic, Infernal, Primordial, Sylvan, or Undercommon
A great power surges within the being of a Cursetaker. Neither mortal nor Fiend, they control the power to manipulate souls and grow in strength that may even rival that of the Archdevils. A Cursetaker is only as strong as their will and determination. In this respect, one who knows themselves and what they stand for can delve into the dark powers of the Fiends and make it their own.
A Cursetaker can choose to create a Domain centered on themselves that extends out in a 60ft sphere. The environment changes to match the true nature of the user. Within this sphere the will of the user is exerted on those inside subjecting them to the following effects.
- The Cursetaker and their allies can add the Charisma modifier of the user to any of their attack rolls and savings throws while inside the Domain
- Enemies within the domain cannot hide nor use the environment as cover
- Enemies cannot gain advantage by any non-magical means
Beyond this, a Cursetaker has the ability to control their domains environment to a certain extent allowing them to take Lair actions while inside. The following can be performed at initiative count 20 and can only be used once per casting of the domain:
- Summon Warhorses for you or any number of your allies within the domain. You and your allies immediately become mounted. While mounted on these steeds, individuals gain the Mounted Combatent feat until they dismount or the horse is dispelled.
- Spectral lassos conjure themselves around the battlefield. Enemies within 30ft of you must make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC or be restrained.
- Summon a stampede of cattle to your aid. Anyone in a 15ft wide line that goes 60ft horizontally must make a Strength saving throw against your spell save DC. On a fail they take 10d6 bludgeoning damage and are knocked prone. On save, they take half of that and remain standing.
- Summon Filth the Rodeo Clown as a minion that fights alongside you and your allies. If Filth dies, they can no longer be used in the domain until they reconstruct themselves in 2d20 +5 days.
Creating a domain is a taxing act for even the strongest of Fiends, therefor when used by a Cursetaker, it comes at great risk. A domain only lasts for 1 minute and while it does not require concentration, if the user is knocked unconscious or killed, it will fade. Once the domain has dropped, the user will need to make a Constitution saving throw. On a roll of 17-20 they take 3 points of exhaustion. On a roll of 10-16 they take 4 points of exhaustion. On a 1-9 they take 5 points of exhaustion. The user cannot exceed 5 points of exhaustion through the use of this domain.
A domain can only be used when the user is no longer exhausted.
