You know the secret patterns and flow to cities and can find passages through the urban sprawl that others would miss. When you are not in combat, you (and companions you lead) can travel between any two locations in the city twice as fast as your speed would normally allow.

Slaves vary in the level of cruelty they endured, and form bonds of solidarity with other slaves; a fact which their taskmasters are all too eager to exploit. Freedom usually entails breaking these ties, which often leaves Ex-Slaves with a guilty conscience. An Ex-Slave's past can never be forgotten, and whether they found freedom through friendly or insidious means, their past has a tendency to catch up to them. Most Ex-Slaves are either on the run, or seeking to gain power and influence before making a return; sometimes both.
