You are the face of your guild, bound to a desk that decides lives of legends and nobodies alike, leading them either to glory or an early death. Few can really fathom the responsibility and weight this job carries, but you do. You've shared joy and sadness with many people, sometimes sending them on suicidal missions, either from your own inexperience and carelessness or deceitful boasting of another self-assured youngster, only for their parents to return later, demanding responsibility from you. But you've led as much promising people to fame and glory, carefully picking the right job, asserting their skills and party compositions, with years more aware of the price of your complacency. You of all people know that ranks matter little, able to tell a novice fighter from a hardened veteran of many battles just by looking at their stance and habits.
But the most dreadful things in this line of work are not it's responsibility, but the damned paperwork and chatty adventurers. Writing documents is as natural as breathing to you, not to mention your uncanny ability to appear deeply interested in someone's story, aptly picking out words from their never ending talks to appear as you were listening all along.
- Skill Proficiencies: Insight, Perception
- Tool Proficiencies: You are skilled with Calligrapher's Supplies
- Languages: One of your choice
- Equipment: Calligrapher's Supplies (your work essentials), a guild insignia, a magnifying glass, a notebook, a set of fine clothes that bear the crest of your guild, your favorite coffee/tea mug and a pouch containing 200 gp.
You have a trained eye for talent and can easily tell approximate level of skill of anyone before you when it comes to fighting, spellcasting and adventuring, be it from their items, stance, grimoires, weapons, the way they talk and carry themselves, their glass-eyed stares and cheerful speeches.
You easily gain a good first impression from adventurer types and office workers, usually by lending a willing ear, letting them speak of their troubles to the heart's content. You also gain advantage on Deception checks when pretending to care for their story and hardships. You also gain this advantage when someone tries to impress you or monologue about their greatness.
Spell List

Suggested Characteristics
This job changes people, believe it or not. You've spent years listening to troubles, bravados and tears, as well as deciding lives of people by handing them a mere sheet of paper. You might've come to resent adventurers as a whole, or instead became fascinated by them. You might've succumbed to the never ending stream of notes and documents or endured it with a smile, like a true hard-worker.
