Fallen Champion Image

A champion fallen from grace in some way. Be it due to religious reasons or being outcasted by their master. Perhaps lost honor or a ruined reputation. Maybe excommunicated. They wander the countryside seeking retribution. They tend to have a very melancholy disposition and reminisce about better days and good old times. They are always willing to step in and lend a hand in attempts to redeem themselves. Sometimes they can be a bit overzealous at this endeavor because they so badly want to be redeemed.

Fallen Champion

Why did you fall? What drives you? What type of redemption are you seeking?

d7 Fallen Champion
1 Fallen warrior of God.
2 Knight disowned by his King.
3 Hero who fell to the very thing he swore to fight.
4 Warrior who lost his honor.
5 Champion who was defeated by a crucial rival.
6 Was maimed and upon recovery had been replaced already.
7 Ruined his reputation in a drunken stupor.

Feature: Jaded

Having gone through such turmoil and upheaval in life has left the Fallen Champion very jaded. They will be unfazed by horrific events such as mass murder or the supernatural and tend stare terrifying beasts in the eyes without flinching. Despite this they still try to always do what their personal code sees as the right thing. The Fallen Champion is able to bolster the spirits of their party whenever they are undergoing effects of fear. This makes them great for rallying the troops and keeping the party's morale high. After all when you're standing behind a Fallen Champion who didn't even blink at a dragon who could boil the flesh from his bones it is a bit comforting.

At your DM's discretion you may be able to work out some type of small dice formula that would allow the Fallen Champion to break any fear effects that party members are experiencing.
