You have for some reason made a deal with a devil or two. You did this through some way, and through this medium you have gained a deal with one or more devils. Depending on the devil your could have any addition of boons and powers beyond what you originally had. You could even possibly summon it Depending on your deal. Also in some circumstances you could even channel the full power of its soul without summoning them and becoming a devilish medium.

- Languages: Choose two, one of which must be Abyssal, Deep Speech, Draconic, Infernal, Primordial, or Undercommon
- Equipment: A [Tooltip Not Found] (containing a chest, a flask of holy water, a steel mirror, a flask of oil, a tinderbox, and 3 torches), one trinket of special significance (choose one or roll on the Horror Trinkets table after this background), a set of common clothes, and 1 sp.
Prior to becoming an adventurer, your path in life was normal. Maybe your family was part of a cult that put you on your journey of infernal deals, or maybe you took an interest in these dark deals later in life or even during the beginning of your adventure. Either way, the deals you have made give you multiple abilities and wells of power to draw from. (Depending on your DM you can have multiple devils with the ability to use multiple powers)

The deals you have made have given you many powers. Maybe a few new types of magic, or new spells. It could give you increased physical abilities, or allow you to call upon the power of your devil. Most people can't tell that you have this deal, unless the deal's catch cause a physical change. But those with holy power seem to avoid or even demonize you, maybe they can feel the infernal energy resonating out of you.
