Only the elite of the elite are permitted entrance as there are no second chances when risking your life for your brothers in arms. Even the lowest ranks are on equal footing to moderate adventurers.

- Equipment: An insignia of rank, a deck of cards, a set of common clothes, and a pouch containing 10 gp, a cloak of protection of deep crimson
These characters come from all classes and backgrounds—for some, their background before joining the military is more important than their current role. No particular set of talents is common to all soldiers, but military units often strive to avoid duplication of skills. Work with your DM for what made you unique.
In addition, the Redcloaks provide them free, modest lodging and food at any of their fortresses or encampments.
