
You are one of the few survivors of your community, attacked by a group of mercenaries, monsters or a sworn enemy of your race and forced to retreat to the wilderness. Since then, your small group has been hiding from your aggressors and the various predators of the wild, chased far from civilization and constantly on the move. You’ve survived situations more extreme than anyone could fathom, the way of the wild is now etched deep in your soul.

The attack on your community and your escape to the wild was a turning point of your childhood. Consider how it happened and who caused it. Maybe a horde of goblins raided your village or the local duke slaughtered your tribe to conquer your homeland.

Years of alertness have honed your senses and your ability to survive in the wild. You are able to gauge the hostility of creatures you encounter and the level of danger they pose to you. In addition, in the wilderness, you're able to find a shelter safe from predators, along with food and fresh water for yourself and up to five other people each day.
