Raven Talker Image

The Ravens Ward is a clandestine organization of raven handlers in the service of the people of Barovia. Their operatives bear no official title but are referred to in hushed tones as “raven talkers” by residents of Barovian cities such as Barovia and Vallaki.
You are a Ravens Ward agent. You must warn the innocent of the realm who find themselves in the path of evil and injustice, such as Strahd von Zarovich and his minions.

Skill Proficiencies: Animal Handling, Arcana
Tool Proficiencies: Forgery Kit
Languages: Elvish
Equipment: A set of common clothes, a raven harness, a Forgery Kit, and a pouch containing 15 gp.

Feature: Raven Ward Network

You have access to the Ravens Ward Network, which allows you to communicate with other network members over long distances. When you write a letter and use an arcane wax seal to secure it, it is immediately destroyed if anyone other than the addressed member opens the letter. When you send a raven with a letter to another member, it will reach the addressed letter in 1d4 hours.
The wax used to seal a letter meant to be sent to another member via a raven is magical. Sealing a letter in this manner costs 5 gp per letter.
