Green Knight

The Green Knight represents a unity of two concepts, nature, and chivalry. First, the connection with nature is clear from his clothes, armor, and horse. Second, going further, we can observe he represents the spirit of vegetation. Finally, the Green Knight takes the role of a protector of the old ways and nature.

The Green Knight distinguishes himself through his elegant garments and embellished weapon. He is both a sylvan noble and a huntsman, almost as a bridge between two worlds whilst also functioning as a guardian or sentry of said bridge.
